Convener's Message...
“People live to die and die to live.”
The first half of the sentence aside
is very true and whatever and however the death will occur in
sometime no doubt. So we should not bother with death. The thing
that matters the most is we all are dieing to live. Why is it so
then? How come living is so hard and troublesome? Even animals other
than humans are also living. Answer to this is how we live. A beggar
begs to make a living whereas a rich businessperson does business
for the same. What is difference between these two socio-human
characters? The difference is beggar’s life lacks everything and has
a lot of suffering but rich businessperson has comparatively
everything and style of living.
No one would like to end up like a beggar so they carry their
adventure to achieve some goals or to succeed. However success
doesn’t knock our door unless we have a good relationship with it.
For that we need to have habit of winning or at least learn lessons
from the losses. Whenever we have a loss we generally get depressed
and get scared while attempting same thing next time. We shouldn’t
bother thinking ‘I wouldn’t have done mistakes if I had done it in
this or that way’. Past mistakes are obsolete unless retrieved to
learn lessons from it and make it right next time.
We need to be very specific and have enough knowledge on what we are
doing or going to do. We need to learn if that thing is attainable
and need to measure its causes and effects before starting it. We
might even have to do some research for it. We can’t undermine the
power of time so we need to be conscious of time management. In
overall, we need to be SMART. A good communication skill is
essential aspect of a smart person. We might be full of knowledge
but no idea on how to put it in right way will always push us
backward.
This is when Smart Club comes to exist. It’s a platform where youth
learn, share and put forward ideas on various social, economic,
political and other general issues. We learn to be disciplined,
constructive, innovative and last but not the least positive. The
world is an arena of multiple competitions in different sectors. For
which we need to be competent in one sector at least. Before getting
into the battlefield let’s be prepared first, let’s be SMART.
